Our approach

WBI Operational Model

Thru several years of experience and countless projects acquired, WBI came up with an ideal model that provides a suitable work environment for creative people. In addition, following this methodology, our clients are more involved in the development of their product and they are getting the results they expect. With that being said, we connect with our clients by associating our incentives with their objectives and purposes, and cooperate to expose the full potential of their business. This creates strong and agreeable relationships that is a main motive in their business growth.

Merging the team expertise, WBI came up with an operational model that guarantees effectiveness and time efficiency. This integration is accomplished through applying external knowledge to an organization’s internal way of doing work.

Planning

In WhiteBeard our team manager checks the project requirements and discusses it to set expectations with our technical manager. Throughout this process, the technical manager shall set guidance on technical standards, requirements breakdown, cycle adaptation and estimation.

Task assignment

The project manager shall next schedule and dispatch each task to its correspondent executor (Software Engineers, Designer), set deliverable and update the client on time estimates.

Feedback & Evaluation

Software Engineers go through features breakdown, propose enhancements and comment on the expected outcome specifically for the farfetched requirements. While reviewing the tasks the Software engineer may comment on delivery time in case the schedule cannot be met.

Once completed, each task is evaluated by the project manager for compliance with the original document, and then, a check-up with the technical manager would take place for compliance with the technical framework.

Quality Assurance & Acceptance

Quality Control (QC) is done automatically and continuously through the whole process (Continuous Integration). Each feature is set to be delivered once the client accepts it, based on the model.

Each feature tested and quality controlled will be published to the developed/sandbox environment.

At the end of cycle, the scheduled tasks will be delivered to the client (Sandbox version) for acceptance based on an “acceptance model”. Once accepted the task is promoted to production.

The cycle time is tentatively set based on the project and can be adjusted during the process. Currently the cycle is set to one to two weeks.
